Deer Valley Resort to Welcome New Luxury Addition

With the announcement of the Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley Resort and Residences, one of North America’s most renowned ski destinations is set to gain a new luxury landmark. Located in the heart of the Park City mountains, this ski-in, ski-out resort is scheduled for completion by 2028, promising a world-class experience.

Just about 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport (USA), “East Village” is being developed as a year-round mountain village featuring hotels, residences, retail spaces, and direct access to the Deer Valley ski area.

The centerpiece of the development is the “Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley Resort and Residences” project—a true milestone for alpine tourism in the USA, as the hotel brand announced via press release.

Located directly on the resort’s longest run, the property will offer future guests immediate access to the slopes. Set within what is now one of North America’s largest ski areas, this project combines modern infrastructure with an exclusive lifestyle for a top-tier skiing experience.

New Ski-in, Ski-out Luxury in North America

The planned construction project makes a bold architectural statement in the mountain landscape with two striking towers. The ensemble comprises a total of 132 rooms and suites as well as 105 exclusive branded residences, covering a wide spectrum from compact one-bedroom apartments to stately six-bedroom homes.

A central feature of the design is its visual openness: thanks to the prominent location and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, residents enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of the peaks of Bald Mountain, Hail Peak, and Park Peak.

Inside, the concept focuses on a symbiosis of contemporary elegance and alpine coziness. Through the use of natural materials and an open-plan layout, the boundary between the interior and nature is intended to blur, providing guests with a sense of direct connection to the mountain world.

Wellness Across 15,000 Square Meters

The Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley is setting new standards in alpine regeneration. The heart of the property is a spa and wellness area spanning approximately 15,000 square meters, offering an experience that goes far beyond traditional relaxation.

In addition to spacious thermal zones and specialized treatment rooms, the resort features innovative amenities such as a “Snow Room,” which provides a deliberate cold contrast following a sauna session.

The pool landscape deserves special mention: a spectacular outdoor pool with a hot tub is designed to appear as if it is floating visually above the ski slope. This architectural highlight allows guests to observe the dynamic action on the runs from the tranquility of the warm water.
