Annual operating costs are expected to range from \u20ac2 million to \u20ac3 million.<\/p>\n<p>However, as the project will follow a comprehensive design, construction and operation model, the direct investment required from the Gaia city council will be \u201czero\u201d, Lu\u00eds Filipe Menezes said.<\/p>\n<p>Vila Nova de Gaia already has an existing cable car line in its historic city centre.
