UMTA (Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority) is currently investigating the option of an urban cable car in Hyderabad. <\/p>\n<p>The present project plan includes three cable car lines, with an overall length of approx. 17 kilometres. The cable car will be used in those areas where underground and rail links are not feasible. Possible routes to consider would be from Nehru Zoological Park to MGBS (Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station) or from Khairatabad to the Secretariat.
