The focus is always on pedestrian and bicycle traffic, since the road connections are always given. However, the paths for non-motorised traffic are steep, not barrier-free and in poor condition. So why not revive the idea of a cable car?<\/p>\n<p>As reported by Donau-Ries-Aktuell, city councillor Birgit R\u00f6\u00dfle suggested contacting the Munich Metropolitan Region. They are planning an International Building Exhibition (IBA) under the motto &#8220;Spaces of Mobility&#8221;.In order to be considered for the IBA, you have to have a few things to show for it. &#8220;We want to present experimental and new things at the IBA. This could include, for example, the idea of a cable car to connect two parts of the city.<\/p>\n<p>The town of Donauw\u00f6rth would then have to approach the IBA office with an application and apply. The staff at the IBA office will then provide support in further qualifying the projects, networking with partners and acquiring funding, among other things, explains Iris Beck.
