There are two stations. It crosses the Red Deer River,\u201d said <strong>Jeffrey Hansen-Carlson<\/strong>, president of Prairie Sky Gondola, which has said it would invest $25-million in the project.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The cable car would connect Red Deer\u2019s business district with the Bower Ponds recreation area.<\/p>\n<p>Downtown Edmonton and Whyte Avenue could also be connected via a cable car making it easy to cross the\u00a0North Saskatchewan River.<\/p>\n<p>The area is popular with bars, restaurants and stores.
