Currently, Jakic serves as Brand Manager and a member of the executive management at Engadin Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>The experienced tourism professional convinced the board of directors with her track record.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Marijana Jakic, with her leadership qualities and personality, will shape and further develop the premium destination St. Moritz,&#8221; says Franco <strong>Savastano<\/strong>, President of St. Moritz Tourism AG, in a press release. The newly elected CEO will officially assume her role on September 1, 2023.<\/p>\n<h3>About Marijana Jakic<\/h3>\n<p>Marijana Jakic is 45 years old and has been working at Engadin Tourism (formerly Engadin St. Moritz Tourism) since 2017. As a member of the executive management (since 2019), she is responsible for the Brand St. Moritz division with nine employees.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Jakic worked in the financial sector for over 20 years at GAM\/Swiss &amp; Global Asset Management and Julius B\u00e4r in various roles \u2013 most recently as Head of Brand at GAM Investment Management in London. She moved to St. Moritz with her parents from ex-Yugoslavia in 1993, where she completed secondary school and her apprenticeship.<\/p>\n<p>Marijana Jakic is the mother of a 14-year-old son, who attends Lyceum Alpinum in Zuoz.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am looking forward to the new task with my team and a successful collaboration with the service providers in St. Moritz,&#8221; says the newly elected CEO Marijana Jakic.<\/p>\n<h3>About St. Moritz Tourism AG<\/h3>\n<p>St. Moritz Tourism AG (STMT) is entrusted with national and international demand promotion, marketing, coordination, and moderation of the tourist development of the destination St. Moritz. It selects destination development activities, event strategies, marketing instruments, and market measures that it deems effective in achieving its objectives.
