Jamie Yount originally hails from Bozeman, Montana, and earned a degree in meteorology from the University of Utah in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>He began his career as an avalanche expert for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. In 2017, he was hired as the Director of Avalanche Service for the Colorado Department of Transportation and was promoted to oversee the entire winter operations in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>At CDOT, Jamie led a team that managed and supported over 1200 winter operations personnel. The team executed outstanding projects and provided crucial weather information to a variety of stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">.fusion-builder-row
