The cabinet also decided that the Ministry of Construction and Transport will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of the project from September 1, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the Minister of Regional Development, Tibor <strong>Navracsics<\/strong>, has been tasked to work with the Minister of Construction and Transport, J\u00e1nos <strong>L\u00e1z\u00e1r<\/strong>, to ensure that the necessary agreements and procedures for the handover are in place. There is not much time left for this, as the deadline is August 31.<\/p>\n<p>The idea for the project is an old one: it is part of the Tokaj-Zempl\u00e9n Development Program adopted by the government in 2020. In fact, in early 2022, the Tokaj Wine Region Development Non-Profit Ltd. even launched a public tender for the construction of a unique closed-cabin, four-season cable car, with a length of 2,300 meters.<\/p>\n<p>The departure point will be at the Festival Canyon (Tokaji Fesztiv\u00e1lkatlan, open-air concert venue and theater) and the arrival point at the Kopasz Hill TV Tower.
