The project involves 16 new chairlifts, including a 10-passenger gondola and 135 ski runs that will offer skiing for all abilities.<\/p>\n<p>Deer Valley said the terrain expansions will take place over several seasons. It is expected that up to 2,900 hectares with 110 slopes will be opened as early as the 2025-2026 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Deer Valley investment is in addition to the $500 million capital program announced by Alterra earlier this year to enhance the guest and employee experience across its portfolio of 17 destinations.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAlterra Mountain Company is committed to investing in large-scale projects that will deliver differentiated experiences in incredible places and this project is exactly that.
