This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndr.de\/nachrichten\/schleswig-holstein\/kurzmeldungen\/Nachrichten-aus-Luebeck-Lauenburg-Ostholstein,studioluebecknews256.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR)<\/a> and the online portal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hl-live.de\/text.php?id=160944\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HL-Life<\/a> in agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The planned cable car route across the Trave should become part of the public transport system &#8211; i.e. it should be possible to use it at the normal tariff. A cable car could connect the beach station in Travem\u00fcnde with Priwall and thus be a sensible addition to public transport.<\/p>\n<p>The advantage is that it does not take up much space and hovers high enough not to disturb shipping traffic. It is also inexpensive to build. A cableway would also have advantages for the tourism sector.<\/p>\n<h3>Improving the accessibility of the Priwall peninsula<\/h3>\n<p>According to the Liberal Party, the peninsula is still poorly accessible, partly because ferries repeatedly break down. Therefore, the party proposes an economic examination of the project.<\/p>\n<p>In Germany, several cableway plans are currently under discussion: For example, the Rhine Pendel for Cologne or a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simagazin.com\/en\/si-urban-en\/feasibility-study-for-cable-car-in-kelheim-put-out-to-tender\/\">cable car for Kelheim<\/a>.
