With this, the piste vehicle operator knows the thickness of the snow cover under the vehicle or under the plate at all times \u2013 and in real time.<\/p>\n<p>The operator can therefore handle the precious snow efficiently. With the SNOW HOW software package, preparation of the pistes can be undertaken even more efficiently and accurately. This means better working not only on the ski slope but also on cross-country trails, in snow parks etc. So that the layer of snow on the piste can be recorded this accurately, the satellite-based system initially records the terrain in 3D.<\/p>\n<p>This model provides the basis for the snow depth measurement, which is accurate to the centimetre. The hardware and software work together perfectly here to perform real-time calculation of the snow distribution.
