The planned route covers 8.4 kilometers and includes six stations. It will feature 94 10-passenger cabins from the Austrian cable car manufacturer DOPPELMAYR.<\/p>\n<h3>Investment in Transportation Infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p>Studies have shown that the city&#8217;s communities require a new mobility alternative, and the transportation system in Uruapan needs restructuring. The Uruapan cable car project is led by Governor Alfredo Ram\u00edrez <strong>Bedolla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The government of Michoac\u00e1n has announced an investment of 3.2 billion pesos (rnd 160 million euros) in the city&#8217;s transportation system. Apart from enhancing public transportation, the project aims to boost the tourist appeal of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Urban Development and Mobility, Gladyz Butanda <strong>Mac\u00edase<\/strong>, stated that the cable car will be an innovative mode of transportation that will bring about a reconfiguration of routes, alleviate road congestion caused by vehicles, and complement both public and private land transportation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">.fusion-builder-row .fusion-layout-column.gradient-column-2 .fusion-column-wrapper:before {content: \"\";
