It will transport 554 people per hour.<\/p>\n<p>According to ski resort operator Dave Scanlan, however, the gondola lift will require more parts for its planned use at Eaglecrest and will therefore cost more than expected. Specifically, he needs additional supports in the middle station, pulleys and metres of rope for the planned route.<\/p>\n<h3>Additional costs of 1.86 million<\/h3>\n<p>The costs totalled around two million dollars, plus 1.1 million dollars for transport to Juneau. At a meeting of the parliamentary committee, Scanlan announced to the members of parliament that a further 1.86 million dollars would be required.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of buying the cabins was about $2 million, plus $1.1 million for transport to Juneau.
