He believes it now enables the city administration to push the project forward, even against skeptics of the multi-million euro plan, which is to be presented to the EU among others.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The next step will be the drafting of the basic project,&#8221; The total cost of the cable car is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1.3 million euros<\/strong> for construction work<\/li>\n<li><strong>15.5 million euros<\/strong> for electromechanical work<\/li>\n<li><strong>135,000 euros<\/strong> for electrical work<\/li>\n<li><strong>60,000 euros<\/strong> for public services<\/li>\n<li><strong>20,000 euros<\/strong> for sewer work<\/li>\n<li><strong>34,000 euros<\/strong> for ticket sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The preparation of the basic project by Gesplan will also cost 268,000 euros and is expected to be completed within twelve months. In the first phase, 30 cabins are planned, each accommodating eight passengers. If there is a significant and sustained demand, the number of cabins can be increased to 41.<\/p>\n<p>The cable car in Tenerife\u2019s capital is intended to operate 360 days a year. The operating hours are planned to be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on public holidays. It will be closed for major maintenance work for five days a year.
