This rare feature became a reality in Montenegro. In the summer of 2023, one of Europe&#8217;s most spectacular cable cars began operating in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Kotor.<\/p>\n<p>The 10-passenger cable car \u201cGD10 Dub Kuk\u201c starts in the port city of Kotor and reaches the village of Kuk on Mount Lov\u0107en after a 3.9-kilometer journey, at an altitude of 1,348 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n<p>The unique view of the picturesque Bay of Kotor is impressive, as is the elevation gain of 1,316 meters between the departure and arrival stations.<\/p>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">.fusion-builder-row .fusion-layout-column.gradient-column-2 .fusion-column-wrapper:before {content: \"\"; The consortium later founded the Montenegrin company Kotor Cable Car, which assumed the obligations under the concession contract.
