Since the groundbreaking in September 2023, construction has been progressing rapidly.<\/p>\n<p>Cable splicing for the first section \u2013 from Varanasi Cantt main station, through Vidya Peeth station, to Yatra station \u2013 has already been completed, and first test rides have taken place.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the towers for the second section are being installed, which will extend the line to the temple area of Godowlia Chowk. Once completed, the cable car system will stretch 3,660 meters and serve one of the city\u2018s busiest routes.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 148 modern 10-passenger panoramic cabins, designed by the Porsche Design Studio, will run on 29 towers with heights ranging from 7 to 46 meters.
