Road closures and driving bans, on the other hand, are legally problematic.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, it is noted that driving bans might be feasible, especially if a cable car from Koppl-Guggenthal to Salzburg\u2019s local mountain is implemented in parallel.<\/p>\n<h3>Supporters<\/h3>\n<p>According to the state\u2019s transport officer, Deputy Governor <strong>Stefan Schn\u00f6ll<\/strong> (\u00d6VP), traffic restrictions on Gaisberg are not an option without a cable car.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Mayor of the city of Salzburg, <strong>Florian Kreibich<\/strong> (\u00d6VP), also considers the implementation of the Gaisberg cable car within the next five years realistic, citing private financing.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAnother positive aspect of the cable car project is that it would make it easier to create a downhill route on Gaisberg, as a path could be established close to the cable car line,\u201d the politician <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meinbezirk.at\/flachgau\/c-politik\/kreibich-ueber-seilbahn-verkehr-und-neue-ideen_a7525303\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told<\/a> MeinBezirk.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">.fusion-builder-row .fusion-layout-column.gradient-column-2 .fusion-column-wrapper:before {content: \"\";
