The Cable Car World trade fair has announced changes to its event concept starting next year: The event will take place on June 9-10, 2026, as a conference with an accompanying exhibition at the Congress Center.

As the organizers report, with the move from the exhibition grounds to the congress center, the focus will shift to content-driven exchange. The central themes will continue to be current challenges, opportunities, and solutions, with the goal of advancing concrete cable car projects and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

“With the reorientation of Cable Car World, we are creating a space where not only visions are shared, but projects become concrete. Industry companies will have a high-quality platform to make valuable contacts and explore new business opportunities,” says Andrea Hölker, Project Manager of Cable Car World.

Speakers from around the world are expected, covering all aspects and phases: from initial ideas and feasibility studies to implementation, construction, and ongoing operations.

The exhibition as an extension of the conference

The international conference will be accompanied by an exhibition where companies from the entire value chain of urban cable car systems will showcase their products, technologies, and services.

The exhibition creates space for targeted discussions and collaborations, promoting practical dialogue between solution providers and decision-makers.
