For the project in Miami, the Miami-Dade Metropolitan Planning Organisation has conducted a new cable car feasibility study.

The location is the transit corridor, which runs east-west from South Miami Beach to Florida‘s Turnpike Extension and Florida International University at the western end of Miami-Dade county.
Other modes of transport have failed, because of the high costs, but an aerial cableway could be used here.
