Global innovation presented at a trade fair

The world’s leading trade fair for alpine technologies, INTERALPIN, opens for trade visitors from around the world in the Messe Innsbruck from 8 to 10 May 2019 as a central platform for new products and innovations from the cableway industry.

Preparations for INTERALPIN, the world’s leading trade fair for alpine technologies, are already in full swing. Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of the Congress Messe Innsbruck, introduces the fair: “As a unique industry meeting place, INTERALPIN brings together high-quality exhibitors, from industry key players to smart start-ups and to international decision-makers from cableway companies.”

With more than 26,000 trade visitors from 86 countries, INTERALPIN 2017 has once again topped its best result so far and confirmed its position as the clear Number 1 among all winter-technology industry fair trades. As the project manager Stefan Kleinlercher knows all too well: the most important criteria for visitors selecting an alpine resort are the quality of cableways and ski slopes, guaranteed snow and summer offer.

It is the aim of each and every alpine cableway operator and tourism professional to positively impact that decision. The groundbreaking nature of the offer of the companies exhibiting at the fair is what makes attendance at INTERALPIN so very important for cableway industry decision-makers,” emphasizes Kleinlercher. Congress Messe Innsbruck expects that the upcoming INTERALPIN, to be held in Innsbruck from 8 to 10 May 2019, will be attended by some 650 exhibitors from around the world.

“They will present their innovations and new products in the areas of mounting assistance, snow-making installations, ski-slope grooming and winter service equipment, access systems, digital solutions, alpine safety, summer attractions and much more,” says Kleinlercher. The presence of industry leaders in the area also promotes the strength of INTERALPIN.

Key players such as Doppelmayr, Leitner, Sunkid, Technoalpin or the MND Group have already set up their branches or sales offices in or around Innsbruck. “Thanks to our direct contact with industry participants, INTERALPIN has become the industry’s driving force. Congress Messe Innsbruck, as the fair’s organizer, is proud of its trustbased cooperation with the cableway industry,” concludes its director, Mayerhofer.
