Interalpin 2019: Trade fair for decision makers!

Thanks to a strong representation of top decision-makers and the internationality of the fair’s professional visitors, exhibitors recorded an outstanding business success and concluded numerous new contracts.

The 23rd year of INTERALPIN attended by some 29,000 professional visitors (compared to 25,000 visitors in 2017) further strengthened its position as a leading global trade fair for alpine technologies.

Global thematic leadership was further developed at the Austrian cableway industry conference “Österreichische Seilbahntagung”, the International Organization for Transportation by Rope (O.I.T.A.F.) conference and INTERALPIN INSPIRATION DAYS.

As an independent survey carried out at the fair shows, the high quality of the professional visitors was especially decisive for the success of INTERALPIN 2019 and its rating as a “leading global trade fair for alpine technologies”:

650 exhibiting companies from more than 50 countries could take advantage of the high percentage (two-thirds of all visitors) of top decision-makers from the industry competent to take investment decisions.

According to the survey, high-quality professional attendance was so high due to the presence of all marketleading manufacturers, as well as numerous companies which introduced their innovative technologies and services to the global audience at INTERALPIN.

The stands were much frequented also by some 40 percent of the professional visitors who attended INTERALPIN with their current project plans for the first time this year. The high internationality of the professional audience also played a key role in confirming INTERALPIN as a leading platform of the global cableway world.

Visitors from abroad accounted for more than 60 percent of the total and for the first time came from more than 90 different countries. Around 30 international high-profile delegations were welcomed at the fair thanks to the efforts of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce’s foreign trade administrative bodies and other official initiatives.

INTERALPIN 2019 was pleased to welcome not only visitors from alpine regions and winter and summer tourist destinations but also representatives from urban areas.
