First Ski-Drive-in

Grüsch-Danusa AG mountain railways (CH) is expanding its gastro concept with the first ski drive-in at 1800m above sea level.

On offer are fries, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, salads, muesli and drinks in an eco-friendly Grüsch-Danusa bag. The hygiene measures and distancing rules are therefore being followed and the innovative Prättigau winter sports company is ensuring that guests can also refresh themselves with hot meals at the side of the ski slope.

How it works: winter sports enthusiasts simply ski into the ski drive-in and order the desired menu at the sales counter. If possible, payment is made electronically. The food, which is provided in Grüsch-Danusa bags can then be enjoyed on large benches outdoors in the open air. Thanks to the biodegradable single-use items, sustainability is also guaranteed.

Grüsch-Danusa can do Corona!

Grüsch-Danusa is the only mountain railway in Switzerland to have a gondola cable car with back-to-back seating. Moreover, it is not compulsory to wear a mask on the chairlift and the drag lifts. For the 2020/21 winter season, the seating available on the gastro-terraces of Berghaus Schwänzelegg, Patschifig and the Red Fox has been substantially extended, creating the best conditions to overcome the challenge of COVID-19 successfully and to enjoy winter sports happily this winter too. Grüsch-Danusa begins the 20/21 winter season on Saturday 28th November.
