WORLD’S FIRST BEACH CABLE CAR

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta Resort hotel in Mexico always wants to offer guests the best possible comfort. The latest idea for this is a roughly six-kilometre-long cable car, which will carry hotel guests to the nearby beach within only a few minutes.

The hotel complex with the innovative idea is located in Mexico. Guests at the resort particularly include tourists from England, and it is for them especially that access to the nearby Riviera Nayarit beach on Mexico’s Pacific coast will be made easier.

After looking at a number of possibilities for such a link, the “beach cable car” remained the preferred option. Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta on Riviera Nayarit has five hotels, several pools, spas, golf courses and numerous restaurants, so there is plenty for guests to discover.

In future, the plan is that visitors will also be able to enjoy all this from a bird’s-eye perspective. The walls and floor are made of special panels, to ensure that guests have the best possible view during the journey.

The cable car will be available only to guests of the hotel complex. Five stations will be constructed along the route, which is roughly six kilometres long. As a result, there will be easy and quick access for all, not only to the beach but to all parts of the large site.

Many holidaymakers in Mexico travel to Cancún for its beautiful beaches, but the Riviera Nayarit coast also has the capacity to enchant visitors. The so-called SkyDream gondola is being built by Austrian company DOPPELMAYR and is expected to open as early as in 2022.

According to information from the hotel itself, Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta will then be the world’s first hotel with a cable car directly to the beach.
