Sydney: Zoo plans new cable car

In 2023, the operation of the "Sky Safari" cable car at Taronga Zoo in Sydney (Australia) was suspended, and now plans are in place for the construction of a new urban cable car. Subject to building approval, the upgraded Sky Safari is set to open between 2027 and 2028. Here are the details.

After 35 years, the beloved Sky Safari cable car at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, made its final ride in 2023. It was a temporary farewell, but plans for a new urban cable car are in full swing, currently for example responses to submissions.
