CWA: SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF THE NEW OMEGA V & ATRIA GONDOLA MODELS
The OMEGA style icon has been produced more than 50,000 times since 1983 and is therefore the world’s bestselling circulating gondola. Even in the fifth generation, OMEGA V, it impresses with its timeless design language and ideal shape in cable car technology.
With the right selection of options, the OMEGA V can be used in winter or summer operation, for journeys to attractions, for urban public transport or as an event gondola. Time and again, its durability and modularity make it a safe investment in the future.
Passengers were able to experience the new ATRIA gondola model for 3S systems live for the first time at 3K K onnection Kitzsteinhorn. In use are: 30 gondolas in winter sports design, two special Explorer gondolas and one maintenance gondola.
The gondolas are painted in the metallic colour Pearl Dark Grey in combination with Graphite Black. They are branded with beautiful motifs on three sides. The lettering is colourcoordinated with the gondola. In the interior design, the ATRIA impresses with its comfort.
High-quality sustainable materials, pleasant acoustics and ergonomic fitting elements create a comfortable travel experience for passengers. Generously designed glass surfaces and the elegantly reduced seat design convey transparency and offer the maximum view.
At 3K K-onnection Kitzsteinhorn, the ATRIA can transport 24 passengers seated and 8 standing per gondola.
Kitzsteinhorn Explorer for special journeys
Two ATRIA gondolas, each with 15 seats, are fitted in a special Explorer version. Outside, they are distinguished from the standard gondolas by their Traffic Black paintwork and stylish foiling in chrome steel colour.
Inside, they are dominated by wood and brushed chrome steel. The chrome steel ski holder has been designed specifically for the Kitzsteinhorn Explorer gondolas. In December 2020, the Eiger Express of Jungfraubahn AG, from Grindelwald Grund to the Eiger Glacier, will follow as the Swiss premiere of ATRIA gondolas.
