Cable Car World 2024: Benefit from early bird booking until May 31st

The second edition of Cable Car World in June 2024 is casting its shadows. The international mobility fair with trade congress will again be held at Messe Essen. Exhibitors can still benefit from the Early Bird booking by registering by May 31. Attractive packages for exhibitors from all over the world will again be offered for the upcoming event.

The future of mobility hangs on the rope: That was the unanimous conclusion after the successful premiere of Cable Car World in June 2022 in the Ruhr metropolis of Essen. Exhibitors and visitors also agreed that the international mobility trade fair and the accompanying congress on urban ropeways absolutely must continue. That is why the next Cable Car World will be held again at Messe Essen from June 4 to 5, 2024.

Then, among others, manufacturers, suppliers, planners as well as cities and regions will present themselves to a top-class expert audience from all over the world in order to lay the foundation for future mobility projects in the plus-one level. Interested parties can find the registration documents for a booth here: Application | CABLE CAR WORLD. Exhibitors can benefit from a reduced early bird rate if they book by May 31, 2023.

In addition to regular participation – either with your own stand or a rental stand – Cable Car World offers attractive deals to gain exposure as a partner. Exhibitors can choose between several packages that include additional advertising services and can become either a Lead Partner, Content Partner or Media Partner. Spaces are limited.

Participation in the trade show is worthwhile in any case: “We have received excellent feedback from our exhibitors, who have confirmed that Cable Car World has provided valuable impetus for new projects. This is precisely our goal: to promote the cable car as a new means of transport in public spaces,” explains Gerald Pichlmair, Managing Director at Seilbahnen International (SI) Verlag, which is a partner of Cable Car World.

At Cable Car World, the exhibiting companies reach in particular employees from public administration and decision-makers from transport companies as well as municipalities and state administrations in Germany and abroad. For example, the last Cable Car World was the decisive platform for pushing an urban cable car project in the major city of Herne, as Mayor Dr. Frank Dudda emphasizes:

“We used the first Cable Car World to present the Herne ropeway project and at the same time to drive it forward. Our aim was to find suitable partners to accompany us in the further process. With success – we made the decisive contacts and are now taking the project into the next phase. As Lord Mayor of the city of Herne, I strongly recommend that all city representatives visit this forward-looking mobility trade show. After all, Cable Car World offers a unique opportunity to examine municipal ropeway projects quickly and efficiently. This is where all the experts come together, this is where interested parties find the concentrated expertise in urban ropeways.”

From the idea and planning, through production and construction, to the commissioning and maintenance of finished installations: the range of products and services at Cable Car World extends along the entire value chain of urban ropeway projects and, in addition to ropeway technology, also includes the areas of economy, environment and society.

Exhibitors include globally active and renowned manufacturers such as DOPPELMAYR, which was already present at the first Cable Car World and will be back again in 2024. Mobility service providers, planning offices, real estate developers and suppliers such as CALAG, the well-known Swiss cabin and body construction company, will also be able to present themselves.

“CALAG is the specialist when it comes to finding the right cabin solution for any type of ropeway project: from cabins for funiculars to cabins for inclined elevators and aerial ropeways. We are already looking forward to the next Cable Car World at Messe Essen. Here we get an attention-grabbing stage for a mobility topic with a future, can reach decision-makers and open up new business fields,” confesses Marketing Manager Michael Reinhard.

Accompanying congress creates added value for exhibitors

Also planned are a Mobility Lab to present the possibilities of the means of transport and a Science Wall for universities to present current research on the subject and its results. Accompanying the exhibition, a top-class congress will be held during the entire duration of the trade show, in which national and international experts will discuss current topics relating to urban mobility with ropeways.

“The congress is an integral part of Cable Car World. We deliberately placed the congress stage in the exhibition hall so that there would be an exchange between exhibitors, trade fair visitors and congress participants. This has worked very well. Together with the exhibition, the congress serves as a networking platform for all those interested in the topic of urban ropeways. Nevertheless, we are using the insights gained from the first event to further develop our concept. We already have a few things in the pipeline that we will be reporting on soon,” explains Cable Car World Managing Director Dominik Berndt.
