The state governement intends to introduce an eco-friendly, clean and green means of transport to decongest the city of Shimla and increase the city's tourism potential. The new ropeway project is supposed to bring solutions to the current transportation problems in the city.

Is Shanghai getting an urban cable car? As reported by the South China Morning Post SCMP, the first-ever cable car connecting the west and east banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai is scheduled for completion in three years.

Preview of the VRN cable car day program
The VRN Ropeway Day under the patronage of State Secretary Elke Zimmer is casting its shadow ahead. On June 15, everything in Mannheim will be under the sign of the urban ropeway. The program has been drawn up and over 100 registrations have already been received.
Plus One Level on Polis Mobility
At Polis Mobility at Messe Köln, mobility experts from various fields came together to experience and discuss the future of mobility. In the process, nearly 200 speakers had their say in 86 event formats over three days in the conference section. A cable car for the garden show
For the Federal German Garden Show in Mannheim, the Austrian ropeway manufacturer implemented a cable car that will be reused at another location after the show.
Bandipur: Cable Car in test phase
The cable car constructed in the Nepali town of Bandipur, a tourist resort in Tanahun will be operational within a month and a half. According to the Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited, the construction work has already been completed. Currently, the cable car is being tested.

Review of the 2nd Ropeway Day
The FrankfurtRhineMain Regional Association in cooperation with Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences invited to the 2nd Ropeway Day in the Frankfurt region on May 10. Almost 100 experts from politics, universities and business discussed various topics related to the application of urban ropeways. One idea for connecting the cities of Frankfurt and Offenbach received special attention.
