Ujjain: urban cable car to the temple
Ujjain is one of the seven “holy cities” of India. The large city, with a population of 550,000, attracts a multitude of pilgrims thanks to the Mahakaleshwar Temple. Starting in the summer of 2026, a cable car will transport devotees from the railway station to the temple via an intermediate stop at the Triveni Museum.
