Finance Minister Carlos Dominguez said he met with French Ambassador to the Philippines Michèle Boccoz, according to a report by ABS-CBN. They discussed the possible funding of several projects, including the first urban cable system in the country.

The Department of Transport project involves the construction of a cable-operated mass transit system stretching about 4.5 kilometres along the Santolan-Eastwood-Pasig corridor in the Philippine capital, Manila. In a virtual meeting, Dominguez said the proposed $100-million project is awaiting approval from the Investment Coordination Committee.
